How to edit section headings and introductions


What this covers

Many sections of your site open with a short line (the eyebrow), a heading and sometimes an intro paragraph. You can replace the built-in wording with your own. A field left blank keeps the built-in wording.


Where to find it

  1. Log in to your site's WordPress admin.
  2. In the left menu, click Website Editor.
  3. Click Global Values. The fields below are part of this tab's list.
  4. Change the fields, then click Save at the bottom of the tab.

Service areas

The eyebrow and heading fields change both the page that lists every area you serve and the service-areas section of your home page.

Good to know

  • Built-in wording on the home page depends on your design, so home page defaults are not listed here.
  • Photo captions are set per photo in the Photos tab. See reviews, photos and FAQs.
  • Headings for the hero and about sections are in their own tabs. See Hero and About.
